一、学校简介
学校概况
卡迪夫大学位于英国威尔士地区首府卡迪夫市，成立于1883年是罗素集团一员。在2014年英国卓越研究框架REF排名中，卡迪夫大学的综合研究质量在全英排名第5，研究影响力排名第2。学校拥有2位诺贝尔奖获得，12名英国皇家学会会员，12名英国皇家工程学院院士，7名英国科学院院士，21名英国医学科学院院士，32名英国社会科学院院士。
卡迪夫市地处英国西南海岸，风景秀丽，气候宜人，距英国首都伦敦仅两小时车程。而卡迪夫大学位于市中心，古老的建筑，公园和绿树成荫的街道环绕其间。卡迪夫大学的逾3万名学生来自世界120多个国家，大学保证为大部分国际学生提供大学宿舍住宿，从宿舍步行便可到达卡迪夫大学。大学拥有16座图书馆，25间信息技术室，其中一些场馆每周7天全天24小时开放。

该暑期项目分为六门课程，分别为：催化的多样性，大数据和高效能计算，低碳建筑，电子工程，可持续土木工程，替代能源与氧化。具体内容及安排见附件。

（一）我校全日制本科生及研究生
（二）道德品质好，在校期间未受过纪律处分，身心健康，能顺利完成在英学习任务
（三）学业优良，有良好的英语基础，能适应全英文授课环境
（五）能承担赴英学习费用

即日起至2018年5月16日
六、报名及选拔流程
1、有意申请者，请先联系该项目的卡迪夫大学中国负责人李滢，电话/微信13263461779，微信公众号ISSatCardiffU。在李滢处获得申请表格后，填写并发送表格至15199366@qq.com。获得录取后，再按照学校校内报名方式进行派出手续、签证，缴纳费用，然后赴海外学习。
2、校内报名及选拔程序：
1） 登录http://i.swu.edu.cn/portal_main/toPortalPage→进入西南大学官网校内门户 →点击“申请：国（境）外交流学习项目→用自己的学生账号密码登录该系统→点击第二大板块：出国（境）交流学习申请→选择要申请的项目→开始申请。
申请前请仔细查看申请流程说明，填写好基本信息后即可导出《西南大学学生国（境）外交流、学习申请表》。
2）填写完毕后，导出该表打印，请学院外事秘书、院领导签字盖章。
3）准备以下其他纸质材料：
a. 西南大学学生赴国（境）外交流学习家长同意函（点击下载）
b. 学生证、身份证正反面复印件（A4纸格式，报名时请携带原件备查）
c. 截至目前的在校成绩单
d. 其他补充材料（如：获奖证书、等级证书、外语能力证书等的复印件）
4）将上述所有纸质材料，连同已签字、盖章的《西南大学学生国（境）外交流、学习申请表》，交至国际处（北区紫藤苑门口）出国（境）交流服务中心学生出国（境）交流办公室蔡老师（电话：68250609。
七、项目费用
2周课程费用为1995英镑，4周课程费用为2995英镑，包含接送机、住宿、周一至周五的早餐和午餐、学费及学校组织的考察活动费用，不包含往返机票费、保险费、签证费、学习期间晚餐费及其它个人消费。
